Nicolas Black – Founder and President
Nicolas Black began his real estate career with the purchase of a 21 residential unit and 3 retail unit mixed-use building in the Woodlawn section of the Bronx. In his time managing the Woodlawn asset Nicolas began to recognize signifcant demand for experienced representation for real estate owners within the community. In a short period of time he was able to establish himself as a trusted and extremely knowledgeable broker in the Northern Bronx working with Douglas Elliman Real Estate. His success in closing deals ranges from land development to large multi-family and mixed- use assets. Additionally, Nicolas is experienced in large corporate lease deals, securing in 2017 a 22,000 square foot lease agreement as a tenant rep for 15 years and close to $10 million in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx. Furthermore, in 2013 Nicolas was the recipient of the Douglas Elliman Chairman’s Gold Award for sales and has closed close to $50 million worth of deals in his career to date.
Mr. Black’s wide range of experience allows him to work effectively with buyers and sellers and the myriad of needs his client’s may require. His experience owning and operating real estate assets sets him apart from other brokers. Mr. Black intimately understands the “ins and outs” of investment assets within New York City, Westchester County, and the greater New York City area.
Mr. Black holds a MBA from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business and BA in Finance from Michigan State University’s Broad School of Management. He currently resides in the Scarsdale, New York and in his spare time, enjoys golf, traveling, and spending time with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs.
